omg no way you're starting your 6-week cut again that you won't finish!!! Slay đ
Hereâs why your desperate July crash diet wonât work (and what to do instead)
Ello,
Itâs that time again.
đïž Every gym is full of people suddenly training six times a week.
đ„ Everyoneâs eating chicken and spinach and pretending it doesnât taste like sadness.
đž Supplements are being panic-bought, carbs are being demonised, and cardioâs being ramped up like itâs a punishment.
Why?
Because itâs âsix weeks until summer.â
Hereâs What Actually Happens
Double their training volume overnight đ„”
Cut carbs, caffeine, fun, and freedomâŠ
And shock, after 10 days of pure and utter misery, they cave đ€·ââïž
Pizzaâs ordered. Trainingâs skipped. Motivation dies.
Theyâve lost 4lbs, gained 6, and call it a âbulkâ by July.
Youâre Not Failing Because Youâre Weak
Youâre failing because the plan was shite.
No one sticks to extreme routines.
Theyâre not designed to last, theyâre designed to look impressive for a few days.
What works?
Something boring. Something repeatable.
Something you donât want to quit after 10 days.
If itâs not sustainable, then youâre never going to stick to it.
What You Actually Need for a Summer Cut That Works:
â A modest calorie deficit (200â400 cals).
â Protein high enough to stop you losing muscle.
â Training that doesnât take 2+ hours in the gym
â Steps that donât feel like punishment.
â Sleep that actually lets you recover.
Thatâs it.
You donât need to do 75 Hard.
You donât need to live off protein shakes.
You donât need to train like a professional boxer.
You just need a plan that doesnât make you want to punch your own face after a week.
Summer cuts can work. But only if the thing youâre doing is something youâll still be doing in 6 weeks.
Otherwise, enjoy your crash-and-burn cycle (again).
Cheers,
Sheep đ
