Ello,

I hate those videos that break a day into neat little boxes.

8 hours work.

8 hours sleep.

2 hours gym.

1 hour meal prep.

Bollocks.

They never account for the real stuff:

  • The 2-minute doom scroll after a mate sends you a reel

  • The “quick reply” that becomes a full conversation

  • Bumping into someone on the way home and chatting for 15 minutes

  • Getting stuck in traffic or your train delayed for 30 minutes

So let’s talk about time properly, not influencer maths

You’re leaking time everywhere 🫗

You don’t need to magically “find” time.

You need to reallocate it.

If you went to bed 30 minutes earlier and woke up 30 minutes earlier, you’ve just created an hour extra a day.

And be honest with yourself, does anything good happen after 10pm?

No.

My guess is that a 10PM bedtime is also a very generous estimate…👀

You’re not building businesses.

You’re not deepening relationships.

You’re not changing your life.

You’re half-watching Netflix and scrolling shite (it really is shite isn’t it) 😬

You won’t miss it, I promise.

The gym does NOT take as long as you think

Let’s do real numbers.

Let’s say 3 gym sessions per week, even with:

  • A peak-time commute

  • A proper warm-up

  • A mobility routine

You’re looking at ~3 hours total per week.

That’s it.

If you’re already walking a decent amount? Even less.

Meal prep isn’t the time black hole you pretend it is 🌯

If you:

  • Write your food list on your phone

  • Walk into the shop

  • Buy only what’s on that list

  • Leave

You can do the weekly shop AND prep your lunches and dinners for the week…

… in 90 minutes. I’ve done it. Many times.

Meal prep doesn’t cost you time; it buys it back. You’re not a bodybuilder if you do it.

Getting steps isn’t the problem either 🚶

An extra 2–3k steps per day across a week is roughly 4 hours total.

That’s:

  • Walking calls

  • Walking to the shop instead of driving

  • Parking further away from your final destination

  • Actually moving between tasks instead of sitting scrolling

None of this requires motivation.

Just decisions.

So what’s really your issue?

To:

  • Train 3x per week

  • Prep food

  • Shop properly

  • Move a bit more

You need to find (or free up) ~8 hours per week.

Not per day.

Per week.

And if you’re already training and walking?

You’re basically there already.

You DON’T have a time problem.

You have a priority problem.
