Why pick ME as your coach?

Why not someone else?

I haven’t scheduled this e-mail, it’s off the top of the dome and is more of a diary entry than a sales pitch.

There’s a million PTs, a million coaches, a million other people you could work with that aren’t me.

And to be honest, you SHOULD window shop. Just like when you buy a car or a house or a new t-shirt, you wouldn’t get the first one that you saw, you’d check the pros and cons and prices of each. So go do that!

But I’d be selling myself short if I didn’t explain why I might be better than a lot you’ll come across, because I will. That’s a promise.

I’ve worked with 4 different coaches for myself now, and all 4 have disappointed me, because I went in expecting to be coached how I coach others.

My standards are high. Sounds cliche but the more coaches I’ve spoken to and worked with, the less imposter syndrome I’ve had.

You get replies every day.

You get EVERY part of your week replied to.

You get infinite calls, infinite check-ins, programme updates, educational resources, if you want it, I’ll give it to you.

You get the experience and knowledge I’ve developed through coaching hundreds of others before you.

And you get a relationship, not a dictatorship. Yes I will be an authority figure, ultimately you’ve employed me because you need my help and expertise.

But that’s just it. YOU, have employed ME. NOT the other way round.

Every single person here is a student AND a mate.

Yeah you pay my wages, and yes believe it or not I want more clients so I can earn more money.

But I only want clients if there’s potential for me to improve their life.

I’ve sacked clients who don’t submit their check-in forms or go too long without training or putting effort in.

I could’ve kept them on and taken the wage, but let me repeat - I WILL NOT work with someone if I cannot help them.

I’ve had multiple serious injuries and surgeries, I’ve had debilitating illnesses and diseases, I’ve come from a history of obesity, and I am not someone who is naturally mobile or has good lifting form.

I actually had corrective walking therapy for 3 years when I was younger because I was born with inverted kneecaps.

My entire fitness journey has been a case of dealing with these adversities and learning how to make the most out of the least.

If you’ve ever seen me in great shape, or doing something strong in the gym, or hitting a new running PB etc, just know I’ve worked my fucking arse off to get there. This stuff does NOT come naturally to me.

There’s a few reasons as to why me and you might be a good fit.

Oh final one actually…

Spud-to-stud is 125 quid for 8-weeks. 2-months of 1-1 coaching is currently 350 quid, and I’m running an 2-month fat-loss programme for 125. That is so mind-bogglingly cheap and the only reason it’s this cheap is because it’s the first one.

If it sells out and I do another the price will go up.
